I think a PC port would be fine. I'm always on board for good games to be available on as many platforms as possible. That being said, I just dont want PC players to talk to console players like we're still playing on the NES, when really the differences between a console and PC game are minimal graphics upgrades (with the exception of games that allow lots of modding on the PC).

In short, saying "I would like a PC port because the PC is my platform of choice" is much better than saying "This game needs a PC port because the PC is superior in every way imaginable."

Well, my reason for PC port is the most simple of all reasons described here. I just want to play a game. I don't have Xbox360 or PS3 and don't have any opportunity of getting one of them. Don't tell me 'You want a game - just get a console & buy a game'. And don't say that 290$ is OK. I can't buy it.
So I'm not interested in graphics, high resolution or whatever, I just want to play it

Yeah that's my thing to, I only have interest in ps3, as I have one now. I have a 5 game limit to me buying a console.
The times are not cheap my friend, so I feel ya.

If anything SEGA should make a certain amount of PC ones and see how it goes form there. Supply and demand, I don't know how it works but you know what I'm sayin.

Well I got one new for $180 for my girlfriend, but if you really just want to play it..........you don't have any friends with a console?

yes so do I.
if I really love one game I'm sure to wanna it share with more people far beyond consoles restriction. I can't squeeze out a reason to say"no" for PC port.
the console does have its limitation, and PC still has large prospect cause it's the most popular platform, doesn't it? i think a large number of PC users should be eager for that. PC port o pc version should not be ignored nor belittled even considering commercial benefit.(given Modern Warfare 2, i can even see further in the market.)

I don't want a PC version for the sole fact that most ppl in my country pirate PC games and I don't want to know a developer as genious as Kamiya (or the whole team) not being paid for his work.

that same practice is exploding in the states, though i doubt it constitutes the PC being ignored, so to speak. I agree with anyone who wants to buy it being able to. and while this next question may be a bit off topic i just have to know: is it easy to play games like dmc or bayo on pc? it looks so intimidating to a console gamer used to no more than ten buttons. and as i type this i cannot imagine performing well in DMC4 with a keyboard in front of me. maybe one of the controller peripherals.......

Me and my friends play Street Fighter 4 on my laptop with two wireless PS3 controllers all the time. So since you can use either a PS3 or 360 controller on a PC, the controller is not an issue.

And to add another great reason for a PC port, DMC4 and RE5 both had PC only modes that added a lot more enemies. It was a great challenge and it could only be done on the PC.
