Though I never played DMC 3 Special Edition for the PC, I can only imagine that it was rather complex to control. Games like Bayonetta, I personally feel, are better suited for controller rather than mouse and keyboard. I could see a possibility of it working, but I have to agree with Ryan in that it most likely won't be. I can't imagine there being a large amount of demand for a game like Bayonetta on the PC.
Sorry. Although they could port it to PC, it's very unlikely, seeing as the game's more suited to a controller, and Sega's not a company to demand PC ports. If you intend to wait, try pouring yourself another Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blaster while you do, Zaphod. =P

There are tons of after market controllers for PCs. I own a Logitech Wireless that works great. With a small dongle purchase you can get a stock 360 controller working in windows, and with a small driver download you can get the (wired) Dualshock 3 PS3 controller working in Windows. There are plenty of options.
That's assuming you think it's neccessary. Action games have existed on the PC sans controller for many years. Personally, for certain types of games like Devil May Cry, Beyond Good and Evil, Gears of War, Prince of Persia etc etc, I like using a controller too. However, I'm just as comfortable with a keyboard. And honestly, the control scheme for any of these games is not exactly complicated. They all come down to 6-8 buttons. It's just preference.
Sega doesn't have a huge track record with publishing PC ports like, say, Capcom, but they have done it in the past. It doesn't hurt to let the developers know there is an interested market not being reached.

Of course people can always get a controller, the game can always be played on the PC, and yes, Sega would probably make a profit out of it. It's just that, even so, it's very unlikely that they will. Action games are normally confined to consoles, and specially ones that allow for such movement as this one. Most people don't have PC controllers, and they probably wouldn't shell out money just to play games like these, that, more often than not, get screwed in the very poor port department.
Believe me, I'd like for as many people to play this game as there can be. It's just that, with all the problems and bad rep that PC ports have nowadays, stuff like Resi 4's horrible controls, Gears of War's problems like the recent clock issue... It's very, very, VERY unlikely. You can try to reach out over here, but more than likely, Sega won't risk it. And very sadly, because if action games started getting good ports, and better control schemes, the PC audience might revitalize from surviving on the MMO/Sims market.

I personally would find it incredibly difficult to play a game like Bayonetta on the PC considering that the control scheme would most likely be build around a console. Beyond Good and Evil and Prince of Persia I'd imagine would work out equally as well on the PC as they do on console, but games like DMC I'd imagine would be completely different.
However, considering I haven't played the Special Edition of DMC 3 on PC, I can't say. It's more of an assumption based off of what I have played for PC before.
I can't say I've seen a huge market for games like that on the PC, but I don't doubt that there is. After all, you never know. I'd imagine if they see that the demand is high enough and sales go over well, who knows. You might see a PC port.

I've played the DMC3 PC port, and I have to say, I was quite dissapointed. They actually fractured the graphics quite a bit for PC play. It looked like one of those early PSP games, to be honest. The controls were the way a keyboard can allow. Controller support, I didn't see any, but it can be solved with a program I know that maps keyboard keys to joystick/controller keys.
That's what scares me in these kinds of ports. The fact that they taint the original game with mistakes, errors, and sloppy finishings by outsourcing the port to cheap devs. Unless PG people themselves did it, I doubt it'd be any good.

Please do a PC version of Bayonetta, I would buy it for sure, I'm only pc gamer so i don't have choice, I was playing Devil May Cry 4 on keybord and it was ok, console gamers play first-person-shooters on pad and they don't complain...
