I'm not sure when really. But yes, I did read about it.
I love UNKLE's song "God knows your lonely soul" after seeing Assassin's Creed trailer. It was really a great idea, it will be great if one of P* staff can make something like that as a US promotional trailer.
lol, I was actually gonna say that first, but then I listened to the whole thing and realized that it's too emotional/serious of a song to work with Bayonetta.

A lot of UNKLE's songs are serious/emotional.
Oh and EX it's just 'Lonely Soul'
I love UNKLE.

I personally believe that the perfect fit for Bayonetta is Mariah Carey, she has the sort of angelic voice that reminds me a lot of Bayonetta's thematic music when I listen to her latest album, The Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel
"My past is not a memory, It's a force at my back. It pushes and steers. I may not always like where it leads me, but like any story, the past needs resolution.
What past...is prologue." Samus Aran
OK, seriously, IMHO, i am about to rescue this topic. just so that everyone knows, i have listened to every song that has appeared here on youtube, and i have to tell you, i dont see how the majority of them even made it here. you want music that would seem appropriate in the Bayonetta game. i've go you covered. also you can feel assured that they make sense because i listen to them as i play the demo:
Hamasaki Ayumi - RULE: this songs riding chorus and tremendous toughness appeal i feel would have a place in any BAYO boss fight.
MUSE - Uprising: i am happy to recommend this song. you will no doubt agree that the first 30 seconds or so should appear in SOME game, but the eerie sound of the synths would compliment bayo nicely.
Amuro Namie - WILD: fast paced and action packed, this song will inspire quick movements in bayonetta, similar to how it inspires dancing. perfect fit for the games action.
M-flo - Astrosexy: another song that is a perfect match for any combat situation, the heavily dance track and poppy vocals make room for bayos oh so stylish execution of foes.
Jason "shyboy" arnold - the time has come: DMC fans will recognize this as the battle theme from the fourth installment. i feel that the game will probably avoid this type of music, but listen to the beginning of this song and then try and convince me it would'nt be perfect in the game.
Hamasaki Ayumi - STEP you X THE YOUNG PUNX: if any song can say " Infinite climax action" its this groovy number from the JPOP queen AYU. an excellent choice for the game.
i should note that i recommend none of theses titles for the more CG or cinematic moments in bayonetta. these only fit ACTION sequences or combat, IMHO
Hey, that's your own "IMHLO" ["in my humble little opinion"] and it's great to hear any suggestions for music you can put on a playlist when you play the game.
Fact of the matter is, this topic hardly needs any rescuing so please don't just go belittling anyone for their musical selection for the game because that just comes across as being rude.
