so its not that the drive is really over working, its that you PS3 guys just aren't used to hearing it just run...I'm sure they will at least give you the option to install in the future....

well, if they will vastly improve the NA/EU version, I will buy the game again. For me, it's that good.

this claim or request is now all over the internet, I hope that Japanese users have the opportunity to install the game on the hard disk...

You're not kidding, it's spreading like wildfire; I just bought myself a lesson in internet communication today. Now I just hope that helpful customer rep doesn't catch flak because I blabbed off...

edit: It also occurs to me that they all seem to rely only on my post. I could have fabricated the whole thing for all they know. Hell, I could be a journalist making up rumors over here and then posting the 'scoop' over at my website. Makes you wonder about the quality of the information we get.

I'm somewhat used to the sound, I didn't install Bioshock till later and it made the humming sound before then. It really didnt bother me at all.

Yea you'd be surprised how much of those information from the "journalists" were taken from internet forums too, and sensationalized.

Good Work King Veto!! as for the topic...this may sound a bit insincere coming from a 360 owner, but the loading in the demo wasnt a problem at all. even though i HAD to install the demo so....wow, i contradicted myself. anyway they say they're working on it and thats really the most you can ask for. i should also note that i havent heard any complaints from 360 owners who imported the game: as far as loading is concerned.

Load times are the least of my worries at this point. After playing the demo, my gripes are with the piss poor framerate and constant screen tearing. Way to go, SEGA. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly hate you more, you "convert" the PS3 version like the retards at Valve would. I'll be skipping this for Dante's Inferno and God of War 3 until further notice, two games that deserve my money after seeing how well they're running on PS3.

Valve didn't do the PS3 port of the Orange Box...Electronic Arts did i believe. Of course GOW 3 runs better on PS3...its a 1st party game. And Dante's Inferno...we haven't seen no PS3 and Xbox 360 comparison to see if they're equal.
